PROSPECTIVE CHANGES TO AUS IMMIGRATION

We have been informed by our Migration Agents, that there will be forthcoming changes to the Australian PR Immigration policy this year. To update yourself on the changes, either log onto www.immi.gov.au or contact John Adams from Immigration2oz.com john@immigration2oz.com for further advice.
These changes may have an impact on potential PR applications for nurses.

IELTS/OET REQUIRED FOR AUSTRALIAN AND NZ NURSING REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS

AHPRA/NZ Nursing Council now require some Overseas Trained Registered Nurse applicants who cannot prove that they studied, and were examined in English for at least 5 years in their secondary education and nursing/tertiary courses, to sit an English IELTS exam and score at least 7 in each area in order to proceed with their registration application.
